Introducing the Scania Swedish Griffin Edition. This is a special edition created to mark Scania’s milestone of having produced 150,000 lorries for the Swedish market since its inception in 1891.
A vehicle launched back in 2015 as a limited edition exclusively for the Swedish market.
The truck in question is a 620 hp Scania R Streamline restyling model in a metallic blue colour scheme with a two-tone livery of gold and a darker shade of blue, creating a very pleasing three-dimensional shadow effect.
It features a gold-coloured front grille that echoes the design’s colour scheme; naturally, the interior is also tailored to this special edition.
Our model-making friend Antonio Falchetti has created his own version of this Scania with a touch of artistic licence, building it with just two axles, whereas in reality the tractor unit was built with only three axles.
